New Led Zeppelin On The Way? Jason Bonham Hints At 'Jam' Sessions With Jimmy Page -- But Not Robert Plant

Drummer admits he doesn't know what will come of 'new material.'
By Chris Harris

On Friday morning, mere hours before he was due to take the stage with classic rockers Foreigner at Detroit's GM Renaissance Center, drummer Jason Bonham — the son of late Led Zeppelin kitman John Bonham — told Jim Johnson and Lynne Woodison of local rock station 94.7 WCSX that he'd be an ex-member of Foreigner as of September 1. But that's not the only thing he said.

Much to the delight of Led Zeppelin fans everywhere, Bonham revealed that he's been meeting up with Led Zep guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones in recent months and that they've been "trying to do some new material and writing."

It was the first time since Led Zeppelin announced they would re-form for a single performance (which happened late last year at London's O2 Arena, in honor of the late Ahmet Ertegün, who signed the band to Atlantic Records in 1969) that anyone connected to the band has confirmed publicly that new music could be on the horizon for the iconic rockers. While the bandmembers have stopped short of definitively ruling out such a reunion, singer Robert Plant insisted in the wake of last year's show that he intended to focus on promoting and touring behind his critically lauded album with bluegrass artist Alison Krauss, Raising Sand.

Not that Bonham knows what — if anything — will happen with the new material he's been working on with Page (who collaborated with pop singer Leona Lewis on an uneven version of Zep's "Whole Lotta Love" at the Olympic closing ceremonies in Beijing on Sunday night) and Jones. He said he just shows up and takes his seat behind the kit.

"I've been over [to England] a couple of times," Bonham said. "I've been working with Jimmy and John Paul and trying to do ... some new material and some writing. I don't know what it will be, but it will be something. At the moment, all I know is I have the great pleasure to go and jam with the two guys and start work on some material. When I get there, I never ask any questions. If I get a phone call to go and play, I enjoy every moment of it. Whatever it ends up as, to ever get a chance to jam with two people like that, it is a phenomenal thing for me. It's my life. It's what I've dreamed about doing."

He said it's still too early to tell what will become of these "jam" sessions, but admitted that the "possibility of doing something is in the cards. I really felt it was in the cards from the moment we walked offstage at the O2." Bonham also explained that, before there could be a Led Zep LP, "lots of politics [would need to] get ironed out," but added that recording with Zep is "something I've always wanted to do."

Bonham noticeably didn't mention frontman Plant's name during the discussion. A spokesperson for Page's management had no comment on the matter, and a spokesperson for Jones' management could not be reached by press time.

Beyonce Invites J. Cole Over For A 'Party' In New Video

Clip, which premiered Wednesday night, also features appearances from Kelly Rowland and Solange Knowles.
By James Dinh

Beyoncé is known as one of the industry's hardest-working pop stars — even when she's expecting. A mere week and a half since dropping her boy-band tribute video for "Love on Top," the pop titan has unveiled the visual for her J. Cole remix of "Party" on Wednesday night's (October 26) episode of BET's "106 & Park."

"Party" takes viewers back to an old-school backyard celebration full of colorful bikinis, freestyle dancing and a few familiar faces, including sister Solange Knowles and former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland. Throughout the video, B lets loose, playing a sort of party host. If she isn't lounging in beach chairs, she's dancing among her friends or mowing the yawn. Yes, Beyoncé is multitasking!

And it wouldn't be a celebration without an appearance from J. Cole, the guest MC behind the remix of the Kanye West-produced tune. Midway through the video, the Roc Nation signee pulls up to the party with his ride glimmering brightly in the sun and spits his verse in the parking lot.

B fans learned there would be a clip for "Party" back in August, when the mom-to-be was spotted in New Jersey's Oakdale Mobile Home Park. Probably due to her impending motherhood, Queen B shot a slew of videos for cuts from her album, 4, ahead of time. "Party" follows previous clips for "Love on Top," "Countdown," "1+1," "Run the World (Girls)" and "Best Thing I Never Had."

Ke$ha Wants 'Till The World Ends' Remix To 'Take Over Airwaves'

Singer says her collaboration with Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj made a 'supergroup of three hot, strong women.'
By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Matt Elias

Earlier this week, Britney Spears, Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj dropped their femme-fatale-friendly remix of the Spears club track "Till the World Ends." The already fun song got super-charged thanks to Minaj's cutting verses and Ke$ha's recognizable vocals.

"I'm a massive fan of both the ladies I share the track with," K told MTV News on Wednesday at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards. "I wrote 'TTWE' for Britney with [producers] Dr. Luke and Max [Martin] and she killed it and I loved it, but I just thought a supergroup of three hot, strong women could just take over the airwaves."

Ke$ha went on to give props to both the ladies. "I'm such a massive fan of Britney and I'm such a massive supporter of Nicki and a fan, and chicks sometimes don't team up. I don't know why, but I'm, like, huge on the girl power, so I just wanted to make a power girl track take over."

The remix quickly won praise from fans who seem to think the new features step up the song's game. "You know, with the three of us, I wasn't necessarily surprised [people like it] because I'm such a massive fan of Nicki Minaj and obviously with Britney I'm a fan of it, [taking] myself out of the equation," she said. "I'm just happy people like it."

So did Ke$ha (who once sang backup for Spears) feel any pressure writing a song for Britney? "There was no pressure. Writing for somebody else is really fun 'cause I consider myself a songwriter first and foremost," she explained. "So it was so much fun to put my brain in the sexy Britney Spears brain and express myself almost as if I were possessed by her."

Justin Bieber, Usher Drop Christmas Track

'The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)' debuted on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Monday morning.

On November 1, Justin Bieber will take his fans Under the Mistletoe on his holiday album. But he's giving them an early treat by releasing his Usher duet, "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)," on Monday (October 24).

The song dropped on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. Its vibe is reminiscent of '90s R&B tracks, and it sounds a lot like it could have been recorded by Boyz II Men, who also appear on the album.

The Christmas classic is all about the little joys of the holiday season, including the family get-togethers, the food and Santa bringing presents to children. The song, one of the classics that appears on the album, hits iTunes on Monday. Bieber and Usher previously appeared together on "Somebody to Love" off My World 2.0.

"Justin and I did the classic record 'Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire.' This record is going to be remembered for years to come," Usher told Seacrest on Monday morning. "It's a record that has always been one of my favorites, and I'm happy that I was able to share it with Justin, and for us to put it out. The album is full of surprises. Justin's Under the Mistletoe is going to be incredible!"

In the lead-up to the release, Bieber released some behind-the-scenes footage of his mentor and him in the studio working on the song. He also shared that he had another surprise in store for his fans. Just one week after dropping the video for "Mistletoe," he tweeted, "Up early to shoot another video for #UNDERTHEMISTLETOE #Nov1st but something else is out this morning...."

In addition to Usher, Under the Mistletoe will also feature appearances from the Band Perry, Busta Rhymes, Boyz II Men and Mariah Carey, who re-recorded her classic "All I Want for Christmas" for the album.

Audrina Patridge, Ke$ha, Adam Lambert Share Prom Memories

'Me and my gay best friend just danced until 8 a.m.,' Ke$ha tells MTV News.
By Jocelyn Vena

It's prom season, and that means high schoolers across this great land will be renting tuxes, buying fancy dresses and negotiating the details of their curfews with parents. So, before you take your pictures and get in your limos, we asked some Hollywood A-listers to recall their fondest prom memories.

"I had a great prom," Ne-Yo told MTV News. "I didn't get to go with who I wanted to go with. I got my second choice, but my second choice turned out to be the one I was supposed to be there with, so it turned out good."

Ke$ha, never one to say no to a party, had the best night of all her friends. "I went to prom with my gay best friend, and let me tell you, I had way more fun than anybody else at a prom with their boyfriends," she recalled. "Everybody else was, like, crying and drama and breaking up, and me and my gay best friend just danced until 8 a.m."

"Hellcats" star Aly Michalka doesn't have a favorite prom memory — because she never went to prom. "I was homeschooled, so I don't even think we had a fake prom," she lamented. "Like, maybe we had a home-school prom and I wasn't invited?"

While everything always seems to be in peril on "The Vampire Diaries," star Nina Dobrev had a less tumultuous night: "Having everyone get together and such a final celebration [is what I remember]."

Romeo went big for his prom. "My senior prom, I remember I pulled up in my red Ferrari. I was feeling like James Bond," he said. "And it was one of the best nights of my life."

"My favorite prom memory was probably going shopping for a dress, and our boyfriends at the time dressed up as 'Dumb & Dumber,' " Audrina Patridge laughed. "And so we were like, 'We can't dress up dorky ... we have to look good.' "

Roots drummer ?uestlove made a big decision on the night of his prom: "June 2, 1989, was my very last haircut; prom haircut, totally butchered my hair. He butchered my hair, and I vowed never again to ever get in a barber chair, so I grew that Afro on my prom night."

Adam Lambert said his prom date was a 10, so he definitely had a fun night. "I had a great prom. I had an awesome time," he said. "I went with one of my best friends in high school. Her name was Lauren, and she was really hot. She wore a really hot red dress, so I felt like I had arm candy."

Lady Gaga Reveals 'Marry The Night' Cover Art

Picture released on Twitter shows Gaga posing on car while fire burns behind her.
By Jocelyn Vena

Lady Gaga is getting her Little Monsters amped up for the "Marry the Night" video. On Monday night, she tweeted out some teases about the New York-based clip.

"Just wrapped my 5th music video, can't wait to unfold all its secrets and share with you moments from my past I have yet to reveal," she said on the site. "Put Born This Way back in the vessel, for rebirth, as I lay in mine. When too strong to divorce, then buckle up, MARRY THE NIGHT."

Gaga shot the video earlier this month in her hometown. She was spotted all over town filming scenes for the Born This Way single's video, including at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island.

"This is my favorite song on the album. Are you ready [producer] @FERNANDOGARIBAY?" she said. "This one is our baby."

In the MTV News documentary "Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside," the singer recalled the time Born This Way musical director Fernando Garibay first played the church bell-filled track that would become the inspiration for "Marry the Night." "It's like Whitney, but imagine if Bruce Springsteen had a baby with Whitney Houston — that's what it is," she said. "And that was it! We made a baby. Finally."

In addition to getting philosophical about the clip, Gaga also shared the cover art for the single, the fifth off her chart-topping album. "Do you want the #MARRY THE NIGHT SINGLE COVER tonight?" Mother Monster asked her dedicated legion of fans. "If monsters make MARRY THE NIGHT SINGLE COVER the number one trending topic I will release it tonight. Early. SORRY INTERSCOPE! I LOVE THEM!"

After Twitter blocked all chances to get the trend going, Gaga defied the rules and released the art anyway. "Even better, you pissed [off] Twitter. Be prepared to Marry the Night at 8pm PST," she said before dropping it with this message: "New York is Not Just a Tan that You'll Never Lose."

In the picture, Gaga is dressed in leather, shaking her blond hair around. She's posing on the wet hood of a car while a fire burns behind her. It looks to be a scene from the video. No word yet on when the clip will premiere.

Britney Spears Drops Official 'Till The World Ends' Remix

New track with Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha follows leaked version, plus Brit tweets single's cover art.
By Jocelyn Vena

The "Till the World Ends" Femme Fatale remix
Photo: Jive

Just days after it was leaked on Friday, Britney Spears and her femme fatales, Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha, dropped their official remix of "Till the World Ends."

The new version of the song was produced by Dr. Luke and Dream Machine. Brit half-whispers " 'Till the World Ends' remix" before the beat kicks in and Nicki hits her verse hard. She spits fierce lines like, "Sniff, sniff, cries/ I done slayed your whole entire f---ing life."

Then Britney's sex-kitten vocals kick in for the song's first verse. "That's Britney, bitch! I'm Nicki Minaj and that's Ke$ha," the Queens MC declares before K sings the chorus. The beat is harder, the loops are sassier and the song is grimier than the original version, which was the second single from Femme Fatale. The newly added dubstep portion takes the one from "Hold It Against Me" to a new level by adding in bass-heavy synths.

Ke$ha, of course, wrote the track for Britney, and the ladies certainly don't seem to mind sharing the spotlight with each other. The official track isn't much different than the version that leaked over the weekend, though Spears did have something brand-new to share with her fans just as the song dropped on iTunes and streamed on her website.

Spears tweeted the artwork for the single, which features the original press photo of Spears along with separate photos of Nicki on the left and Ke$ha on the right. Spears wrote, "@NickiMinaj @Keshasuxx Too much fierceness for one cover! Thanks for lending your voices girls... #TTWEREMIX — Brit"

Spears and Minaj have been hanging out a lot in the lead-up to their summer tour. They hung out at the Factory nightclub on Friday night after Minaj's show in Los Angeles. Spears later wrote, "Early rehearsal after a late night with my girl @NickiMinaj. Can't WAIT to get out on the road with you."

What do you think of the "Till the World Ends" remix? Tell us in the comments!

'Once Upon A Time' Preview: Fairy Tales Meet Reality

ABC fantasy series from 'Lost' writers/producers follows the lives of storybook characters forced to live in the real world.
By Kevin P. Sullivan

"Once Upon a Time" cast

The characters in the fairy tales you grew up listening to are people too. That's a big part of the story behind ABC's upcoming fantasy series "Once Upon a Time." From the minds of former "Lost" writers and producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, "Once Upon a Time" follows the lives of a number of storybook characters who find themselves trapped in the real world after a curse is placed on them.

Jennifer Morrison ("Warrior") stars as Emma Swan, the woman tasked with saving the fairy-tale world and bringing back the happy endings. Morrison says that there's much more to the series than the familiar faces, like Snow White, and that the show is about something bigger and much more relatable.

"It's relationship driven. There is this sort of underlying universal thing," Morrison said. "We're in a time in our lives where the economy's kind of tough and jobs are tough, a lot of struggles people are facing. In a sense, our show really represents that in the curse that is on the characters and the hope that there is a way out, that you can band together and find a way out."

Taking such a fantastical premise and making it about something real is a trick Horowitz and Kitsis say they learned from their time working on another sweeping fantasy epic, "Lost." The creators cite the character-driven drama of "Lost" and that show's executive producers, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, for giving them the direction and recipe for a successful outlandish drama series.

"I think that the important thing that Damon and Carlton always told us was that it's about character first, although the fairy tale is fun, and Storybrooke's fun," Kitsis says. "Like, oh my god, that's Grumpy in a scene with Little Red Riding Hood. If you don't care about the characters and you don't care about their struggles, for us it's important that they're not just animated characters."

For any TV show with even the most tenuous connections to "Lost," there will be questions of whether there is an overall arch already planned. Horowitz and Kitsis say they know where they want to take it but are waiting to see how viewers react first. "You can really only take those big picture ideas and then look at what's right in front of you and try to tell the best story you can, and we'll see what the audience says," Horowitz explained.

To clarify further, Kitsis offered up an analogy. "It's kind of like we're on a road trip. We know we want to get to New York eventually, but if we see a large potato in Idaho we have to go see, then we're going to veer off and see it," Kitsis says.

"Once Upon a Time" premieres this Sunday on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT.

'Glee' Season Finale Exclusive: Listen To 'Yeah!' Here

An a cappella girl group covers Usher's hit for Nationals in next week's episode.
By Aly Semigran

During this week's episode of "Glee", the gang from New Directions took a big risk when they decided they would compete in Nationals by singing their own original songs. Well, the stakes just got a little higher.

MTV News has an exclusive first listen to one of the rival groups who will go up against the McKinley High glee club in New York City during next Tuesday's (May 24) big season two finale. In the upcoming episode, an all-female a cappella group sings Usher's 2004 club and radio smash "Yeah!," which may have the Nationals judges saying just that.

Singers replace synthesizers for the four-note melody that repeats throughout the song, and lead vocalists RaVaughn Brown and Missi Hale match the high energy that Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris brought to the track.

Granted, a few things have been tweaked in the version for the tween-friendly show, including the length (the original is over four minutes long, while the "Glee" version comes in at three and a half minutes) and the tune's instructions to "Take that and rewind it back ... got the rhythm make ya booty go."

Also, instead of Ludacris' verse, "We want a lady in the street/ And a freak in the bed," one girl sings, "You know you want a kiss on the lips, old red." The line, "Ludacris fill cups like double D's" has also been cut from the song.

But, it's not all PG. At one point in the girls' rendition of the track, they page homage to Lil Jon's crunk hit "Get Low," singing, "From the windows to the walls" and even Mystikal's booty-happy single "Shake Ya Ass," when they urge, "Show me whatcha' workin' with."

At the 2005 Grammy Awards, the power trio of Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris won the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Yeah!" But, will the song bring the same sort of fortune to this girl group at Nationals? Or will the glory all belong to New Directions this time? Gleeks will still have to wait a few more days to find out.

The "Glee" season finale airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Fox, while "Glee": The Music, Volume 6, including the three new original songs "Light Up the World," "Pretending" and "As Long as You're There," will be available on Monday.

Lady Gaga 'Has Full Control,' Akon Says

'Kon was 'fully involved' in her first two albums, but now 'creatively, 100 percent, it's all Gaga,' he tells MTV News.

Over the course of her ever-evolving career, Lady Gaga's longtime boss, Akon, has always been by Gaga's side as she reincarnated herself from disco-ball-wearing dance princess to couture-sporting pop demi-goddess.

Now that Mother Monster is several years and millions of albums sold into her career, Akon has stepped back a bit and changed his role in the Haus of Gaga, giving the singer more control over what she does with her career.

"So the way it works is, Gaga's on Kon Live/Streamline, which is Vincent Herbert, and it's distributed through Interscope," he explained to MTV News. "And the first two albums, we were fully involved in everything creative when it comes to Gaga, and then, as she grows, she becomes more in tune with herself [and] what she wants to do.

"Now she has full control over her project, period," he continued. "Everything you see of Gaga now is all from her brain ... and our job is just to make sure whatever she's thinking we can make into reality. So I guess more so with the approval processes and everything like that, we still do what we do, but creatively, 100 percent, it's all Gaga, and Vince does all the day-to-day stuff relating to Gaga."

Then whatever's about to go down in Gaga's upcoming "Marry the Night" video certainly got the A-OK from Akon. The singer was spotted in New York City filming a clip for the fifth single from her chart-topping Born This Way.

What are you expecting from the "Marry the Night" video? Let us know in the comments!

Justin Bieber 'Has His Head On Straight'

'You don't hear anything bad about this guy,' Boyz II Men's Nate Morris says of teen superstar during 'MTV First: Justin Bieber.'
By James Dinh, with reporting by James Montgomery

Justin Bieber is bridging the generation gap with his star-studded holiday album, Under the Mistletoe. He's collaborated with a string of stars like Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes and Usher for the November 1 LP. But it's the Biebs' pairing with Boyz II Men that's sure to expand the teen star's fanbase.

We spoke to BIIM's Nate Morris via Skype during our special "MTV First: Justin Bieber" this week, and he shared his thoughts on the young singer as well as their holiday collabo "Falalalala."

"We respect him, man," the R&B crooner told MTV News' James Montgomery. "I watch what he does, I watch what the people around him do, and they're guiding him in the right directions. You don't hear anything bad about this guy. He has his head on straight."

JB's team includes his mother, Pattie, who Morris said clearly has Bieber's best interests at heart. "His mom has got his focus in the right direction and as long as she does that, he'll be just fine," he added.

So will Boyz II Men head to the studio again with the pop superstar? Morris was optimistic, saying, "Oh, without a doubt. We just have to figure out the right circumstance. This was perfect for us because, you know, we wanted to try to make sure that the first song we did together was something that people could accept the two artists doing together. ... If there's a soundtrack or whatever that comes along that we can create something special, that'll be hot."

BIIM's team-up with JB is just one of many treats the group has planned for their comeback. On October 25, they're set to drop Twenty, a new double-disc set that features both brand-new tracks and re-recorded classics.

"It's a collection of our best work, we think," Morris admitted. "I mean, 20 years is a long time to be in this business, so we tried to encompass a little bit of everything. ...We wanted to bring everything together all on one [album] even for those young Bieber fans who may not know all the Boyz II Men records — they can get all the history and today's music on one CD."

Beyonce Puts 'Love On Top' In New Video Tease

Queen B is reportedly set to release her latest 4 video this week, just a week after she dropped 'Countdown.'
By Jocelyn Vena

Just days after she released her video for "Countdown," are you feeling like you already need a new Beyoncé video? No problem. Queen B's got your back!

Even though she just released the Adria Petty-directed, retro-fied clip for "Countdown" last Thursday on MTV and her "Party" clip is waiting in the wings, Beyoncé isn't holding back her video for "Love on Top." A teaser for the latest single from 4 dropped over the weekend.

Find out what the "Countdown" director had to say about B's video shoot!

The short clip features Beyoncé in an all-black spandex bodysuit, rocking a bedazzled captain's hat, tights and high-top sneakers. She shimmies in perfect step with her all-male backup singers as she smiles her way through the song. The video has the appearance of a performance rehearsal taking place in a loft space full of windows.

While her baby bump was on full display in her "Countdown" video, she doesn't appear to be rocking one in this video. Essence.com reported that the video is slated to drop this week, though no further details are available.

In the minute-plus video tease for "Love on Top," we see B on the same set with the same group of dancers — a far cry from the multicolored, manically edited "Countdown" clip that premiered on MTV last Thursday. The mom-to-be referenced everything from "Funny Face" to "Flashdance" in the fast-paced video, which matched the song's urgent beat. Co-director Adria Petty told MTV News that she and Beyoncé handpicked the video's many pop-culture references. "I brought Beyoncé a number of references and we picked some out together," Petty revealed. "Most were German modern-dance references, believe it or not. But it really evolved."

Beyoncé famously performed "Love on Top" at the VMAs back in August. As she danced around the stage in her sequined blazer, it was her baby bump reveal at the end of her performance that made headlines, serving as confirmation that she and Jay-Z are expecting their first baby together.

The video tease is a variation on the VMA performance, which featured Beyoncé performing the track with several backup singers. That night, Beyoncé took the stage and, during the opening notes of the song, told the room, "Tonight I want you to stand up on your feet. I want you to feel the love that's growing inside of me."

'Paranormal Activity 3': Seven Burning Questions Answered

From how to top the 'cabinet scare' in 'PA 2' to the setup behind Bloody Mary, the film's directors reveal their secrets.
By Eric Ditzian

On Friday, after the directors of "Paranormal Activity 3" helped us reveal 10 secrets about their horror sequel, we promised that on Monday, once fans had actually been able to check out the movie, we'd deliver a slew of answers to burning questions.

And check it out, fans most certainly did. "PA 3" reeled in $54 million at the box office over its first weekend. That's a lot of money for a lot of screams and, likely, a lot of sore throats today. So you guys deserve it: Read on for directors Henry Joost's and Ariel Schulman's answers to many of the eye-popping moments in the flick (needless to say, major spoilers exist below).

How did they make everything fall in the kitchen?

Henry Joost: "All summer, people were like, 'How do we top the cabinets blowing open [from the previous film]?' "

Ariel Schulman: " 'The cabinet scare! The cabinet scare!' "

Joost: "It was just so regular. We all have cabinets, but they've never done that before. It's the last thing you expect to happen. So we were brainstorming and brainstorming. I wanted Randy's dead body to drop from the ceiling. And [screenwriter] Chris Laden was like, 'What about all the stuff in the kitchen?' That was massive rigging for special-effects crew. It was so beautiful. It was like an art installation. It was all practical."

Schulman: "We did one take. We rigged everything to a hinge and had one button. You say go and it just launches."

Joost: "The release is staggered. The stuff gets closer to the camera, which is something you don't even register, but it is 100 times better than everything falling at once."

Wait, you were going to kill Randy?

Schulman: "We never killed Randy. We talked about it. The character who knows something is wrong and leaves and then meets his death somewhere else because the demon has followed him. But we never killed him."

Where did the idea for Bloody Mary come from?

Schulman: "Chris Laden had been wanting to bring back Bloody Mary, which was a great idea. And we'd been wanting to do a scene in total darkness."

Joost: "We shot that scene three different ways. We shot the version that's in the trailer, where it's just the girls. And then we shot it with Dennis, Randy and Katie. The first two times were good, but we felt like we could take it to the next level. On set, we came up with the rattling door. We were like, 'Can you make something in the room fly out of the room?' "

Schulman: "Not only is the acting improvised, but a lot of the writing is. That scene starts off with Randy and Katie playing Bloody Mary and Randy gets scratched. End of scene. But it felt like it could get scarier. So we huddled and said, 'What if the demon is right outside the door and just slamming on it?' And we just went from there."

Where is Julie's husband? Will we ever see him?

Schulman: "Maybe. Gotta leave some questions kind of unanswered!"

What exactly happened at the end?

Schulman: "The grandmother is the leader of a coven that is calling forth a demon. That demon is requesting a male host, a child. Someone has made a deal with the devil in return for a boy somewhere along this family lineage. That hasn't happened yet. It happens in 'Paranormal 2.' In 'Paranormal 2,' the grandma is forcing the issue. Once that boy is had, she will be there with her coven and the demon in order to deliver the baby."

Joost: "Dennis is in the way, and ultimately Julie is too."

So at the end, the creepy women are going to have a séance?

Schulman: "Well, not exactly. It's not in the movie. I think a lot of this movie is left up to your imagination. So much had been done within the genre. People know a lot more about demonology than they realize. You actually don't need to show it. You just insinuate it and people are like, 'Oh yeah, that's going to be a séance later. I know how those work.' "

Joost: "It's a huge thing in this movie that now, not only are you afraid of a demon, you're also afraid of a bunch of people in cahoots with the demon."

Schulman: "The women in the coven are very sweet. But if you look at their IMDb credits, they each have played 'creepy lady' many times. Talk about being pigeonholed."

Will you guys return for "Paranormal Activity 4"?

Schulman: "I had a blast. I'd do it again."

Joost [laughing]: "We have some ideas. It's going to be just drawings. Calligraphy and watercolors. And set in the 1800s."

Schulman: "Found watercolors!"

Check out everything we've got on "Paranormal Activity 3."

MTV's 'True Life' To Explore Occupy Wall Street

MTV embeds in Zuccotti Park to get real story in 'True Life: I'm Occupying Wall Street' airing November 5 at 6 p.m. ET.
By Gil Kaufman

It's one thing to watch footage of the Occupy Wall Street protests on TV and hear the nightly news pundits give their two cents on the global movement. But what if you could live among the protesters and get a real sense of how the Occupy movement is taking shape and why it's become a phenomenon?

MTV did just that, embedding with the protesters for an upcoming "True Life" special set to air Saturday, November 5, at 6 p.m. ET. "True Life: I'm Occupying Wall Street" will visit the financial district sit-in and profile a group of 20somethings who've pitched their tents amid the skyscrapers of Wall Street to see how they're feeling about the event.

The special episode will take you to the front lines as MTV cameras follow three young people who get swept up in the political movement that has quickly grown into a global phenomenon. Viewers will be introduced to Bryan, one of the leaders of the Occupy sanitation team. You'll watch as he steels himself against a potential fight with the city when he fears that their request to clean the park is an excuse to evict the protesters.

"This needs to happen now, or it's over," Bryan is seen telling his fellow protesters about cleaning up the park before the city's mandatory deadline, which helps motivate them to collect trash, sweep up and scrub graffiti from the ground with hand-held brushes. "As worried as I was," he says, "it was amazing to see that as it really came down to the wire, people were willing to just do whatever it took to get the park clean."

The protests come at a time when the future seems grim not just for the millions who've been out of work and looking for jobs for several years, but for a younger generation that is just entering their prime earning years. In fact, 72 percent of young people surveyed by MTV over the past two years are afraid they won't live up to their potential, with nearly three-quarters of those age 18 to 29 feeling "things are unfair for my generation because we have to start our careers during this economic crisis."

They've found that the game has changed and the old equation for success that promised that college plus extracurriculars, summer internships and huge student loans would lead to a fulfilling job that helps pay off those loans — just doesn't compute. Many feel as if the rules have been altered on them and that they've been cheated.

David Banner, Tom Morello, Kanye West and Talib Kweli have also joined the Occupy Wall Street protesters throughout their month-long demonstration.

The problem for young protesters like Bryan is who do they turn to? Their parents, the government? Many believe it no longer matters who's in charge in Washington because none of those big money politicians has any answers. That might be why this group sees Occupy as a kind of war their generation must wage, one that might not end soon, but which they support because it allows them to speak out against corporate America and voice the concerns they have about not being able to find work. That also explains why nearly half (45 percent) have postponed a major life milestone (marriage, having children) because of the economy or their employment situation.

Click through to "Voices From Occupy Wall Street" — our interactive photo gallery — and get to know 20 young demonstrators' motivations, hopes and goals.

A recent MTV survey of young adults (ages 18 to 29) about economic conditions, the government and its impact on their generation found that 93 percent feel that the current economic situation is having a personal effect on them; 72 percent don't trust the government to take care of their well-being. A whopping 76 percent said they're worried about the future of our country. And they're not just fretting about themselves. More than 62 percent said they feared for their parents' ability to retire in this economy and 66 percent said they wish there was some leader, outside of a political one, who could speak to their generation's needs.

"I feel stressed out about it," 18-year-old Adalee recently told MTV News. "As a [Hispanic] college student relying on financial aid to get through school ... and with all the budget cuts, it's a stressful situation ... But if the economic crisis worsens or is not resolved soon, it won't matter how much financial aid we get, more than likely it won't be enough to cover tuition."

The nation has watched this anxiety amplified by Occupy demonstrations across the country, as a small gathering of activists in Zuccotti Park in lower Manhattan has spread across the globe spanning hundreds of cities. When it came to those MTV surveyed, among the 69 percent who said they were aware of the Occupy protests, 57 percent supported the movement.

"True Life" viewers will also meet college students Kait and Caitlin, who are so worried that they won't be able to find jobs after graduation that they set out to recruit their friends to join the cause as they work to keep spirits high among the occupants.

What do you think about the Occupy Wall Street movement? Let us know in the comments.
